Spring 2019 State of the Chapter

Beginning the Spring 2019 semester, Texas Beta finds itself on a path of healthy growth, strong brotherhood, and community involvement expected to continue and expand in the new year.

Texas Phi Delt boasts two semesters of successful recruitment, taking in 7 and 17 new members in Spring and Fall 2018 respectively.  Many of these new members are already seeking out and obtaining leadership positions in the chapter.

Texas Beta had a strong year of giving back to the community through donations to our fraternity’s philanthropy, the Live Like Lou Foundation, support for the Austin chapter of the ALS association, and participation in several other community service activities.  For the 8th consecutive year, Texas Beta teamed up with the Austin chapter of the ALS association successfully put on the annual Austin ALS walk.  Our chapter donations to the Live Like Lou Foundation, through the efforts of our active members at our annual Casino Night philanthropy event, helped push the Texas Beta team to 2nd overall in donations for the Foundation nationwide.

Looking forward, my vision for 2019 is a chapter where every single member is passionately involved in his fraternity and our local Austin community.  I envision a year where we build and strengthen our ties with Texas Beta alumni and are seen as the top leaders and gentlemen on our campus.  With a driven and involved executive board and lots of young energy in the chapter, I have no doubts in our abilities to make this vision a reality.
